Anjalika Baier
Exhausted Landscapes
This series of photographs responds to the state of the ecological environment on this planet as landscapes are being exhausted, destroyed and exploited by human activities.
Anjalika has employed intentional camera movement (ICM) to express the devastating impact of human actions, creating a visual narrative to portray this message.
Anjalika has been an enthusiastic amateur photographer for 10 years. Her main passion is for the camera-less techniques like cyanotype, cyanolumen, lumen prints and phytograms. Using these techniques she works directly with paper, subject matter, sunlight and household chemicals to produce unique and unrepeatable images.
