The evening of Saturday 26 April sees a momentary musical departure for Photo|Frome as the student work exhibited at Silk Mill Studios finds itself soundtracked by “spacey folk-dub brass fiesta” and “psychedelic folk fusion” live sounds courtesy of local bands Blue Midnight and Kangaroo Moon.
Revisiting the event they said would never happen, in a follow-up to their unforgettable and groundbreaking gig together in Maiden Bradley 2023, the amazing PsycheFolk of the ‘Moon couples once more with the eccentric DubWorld of the Blue‘.
These two very different but intricately linked bands will intrigue your mind and engage your body as they weave magical violin and keyboard playing with the strumming of strings, the plucking of bass and the beating of drums – and more than a splash of trombone.
A funky psychedelic heart-lifting wall of richly melodic sound meets some very addictive eccentric crossover music to amuse, beguile, cheer, delight, enthral and engross you – and put a Spring in your step for 2025.
